What to Expect

Personal Consultation: I will meet with you to learn about your family, the significance of your child’s name and the special people you wish to include in the celebration. This helps me craft a ceremony that feels authentic and meaningful to you.

Bespoke Ceremony Script: Together, we will design a ceremony that may include readings, music, promises from parents and guide parents (or supporting adults) and any symbolic gestures you wish to include - such as candle lighting, tree planting or the sharing of wishes. The tone can be formal, relaxed, or anywhere in between.

Personal Promises: I can help you write heartfelt promises to your child and you may invite others to make their own commitments, or offer readings and music if you wish.

Welcome and Certificate Presentation: The ceremony concludes with a formal welcome of your child and the presentation of a commemorative certificate for your family to cherish.

Naming ceremonies are non-legal celebrations and do not require any official registration. You are free to hold your ceremony wherever you choose - at home, in a garden, at a favourite venue, or outdoors in a special place.
